A man has been charged with attempted robbery following an incident at a Post Office in Berwick.

Officers were called to the Post Office in Station Road at 15:00 BST on Thursday after reports of a robbery.

A 52-year-old man from Seaford was arrested and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Sussex Police is seeking witnesses with information or footage.
