Teen arrested in attempted murder inquiry

Police were called to Stainbeck Road near the junction with Stainbeck Avenue

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Leeds last month.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Stainbeck Road in Meanwood on 11 August, where a man was found with a gunshot wound.

He received hospital treatment for his injuries.

An 18-year-old suspect was arrested and remained in custody, police said.
