Free parking is being offered to people attending festive events in Lincoln.
On Thursday, the Christmas lights switch-on will see free parking between 16:00-21:30 GMT at Lincoln Central car park and other council pay and display sites across the city.
Visitors can also park for free during the city's late-night shopping dates on 5 December, 12 December, and 19 December during the same hours.
The Christmas lights switch-on will mark the beginning of Lincoln's festive celebrations.
Drivers at Lincoln Central will pick up a chip token at the entrance barrier, with no charge if entering and leaving within the 16:00-21:30 window.
No charge will be applied for PayByPhone users during the hours, the council said.
The Christmas lights switch-on will feature a line-up of performers and special guests, including a performance from New Theatre Royal's pantomime cast.
The lights will turned on by the Mayor of Lincoln at 19:10.
Lincoln will be lit up for the festive period across Brayford Wharf, Steep Hill, the Cornhill Quarter and other areas.
Shops taking part in late-night shopping will stay open until 20:00.
