Visitors will be invited to take part in a harvest-themed fancy dress competition to celebrate a town's horticultural links.
Spalding's Pumpkin Festival, which will take place in the town centre on 4 October from 11:00 to 15:00 BST, will also include live music, pumpkin crafts and sculptures.
Additional stalls with seasonal items will add to the town's usual Saturday market and local shops will join in the autumnal celebrations in a shop window display competition.
Hall Place in Spalding town centre will be closed to traffic from 07:00 until 17:00 during the event.

Councillor Gary Taylor, portfolio holder for community development, said: "As we all know the event is a highlight in Spalding's calendar and I'm really pleased we are able to celebrate our long history of horticulture and harvest, whilst bringing our local businesses and the wider community together for a day of food, fun and festivity."
