Police investigating murder make another arrest

Police investigating the murder of a 34-year-old man have made another arrest.

Ryan Burton, from Corby, Northamptonshire, died in hospital on 16 January, six days after he was seriously assaulted in Kettering.

Northamptonshire Police said a 23-year-old man from Corby is in custody after being arrested on suspicion of murder. He will also be questioned in connection with a robbery.

A 28-year-old woman from Kettering arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice and 11 other people arrested as part of the investigation have been released on police bail.

Ace Hill, 18, from Corby, appeared at Northampton Crown Court on Tuesday, accused of one count of murder and one of robbery.

He was remanded in custody until his next appearance at the same court on 21 March.
