Mersey ferries suspended due to technical fault

Mersey Travel said further updates on its services would be released in due course

All Mersey ferries have been suspended due to a technical fault.
Mersey Travel's website said its teams were "working hard" to resume normal services.
It said in the meantime cross river tickets can be used on Merseyrail between James Street and Hamilton Square.
Mersey Travel said there were no bus replacements in place during commuter service and advised further updates would follow.
