Blood moon visible in region for just eight minutes

The Blood Moon was visible for just eight minutes over Merseyside as some stargazers in the North West missed the celestial show.
The Royal Astronomical Society said the eclipse was more visible in the south of England with sightings more difficult in the north and west of the country.
Prof Robert Massey said cloud might have spoiled the show for some people on Sunday.
The eclipse was also only visible in Liverpool from 19:44 to 19:52 BST, while stargazers in Manchester got to enjoy it for slightly longer, with the Blood Moon visible there for 11 minutes.
Prof Robert Massey said: "The main reason people might not be able to see it if cloud - people would have been clouded out and unable to see it.
"But also if you go a long way or north, then the moon hadn't risen by the time of the eclipse.
"It depends on geography. It was quite hard to see it in some parts of the UK."
