Headliners announced for Derbyshire's Y Not festival

The Prodigy, Courteeners, Madness and The Wombats have been announced as headline acts for next year's Y Not festival in Derbyshire.

The music gathering is due to take place in Pikehall, near Matlock, from 31 July to 3 August.

Other acts announced include The Last Dinner Party, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand and Shed Seven.

The festival is returning for its 18th edition after first being held in 2005.

Sigrid, Maximo Park, Hard Life, Annie Mac, Professor Green, The Pigeon Detectives, The Twang, Red Rum Club, The K's and Mr Motivator were also named in the first line-up announcement.

Festival organisers said further acts would be announced at a later date.
