Rag'n'Bone Man and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell have been announced as headliners at a summer festival in Derby's Markeaton Park.

The acts join Blossoms and Simple Minds on the line-up for Derby Summer Sessions, which is due to be held between 5 and 13 July.

Rag'n'Bone Man will perform on 6 July with UB40 featuring Ali Campbell closing out the festival on 13 July.

The event took place in Derby for the first time earlier this year, after being expanded to multiple locations around the country.

Rag'n'Bone Man, famous for hits such as Human and Giant, will take to the stage following a performance by Elles Bailey.

Stockport band Blossoms are due to perform on 5 July, along with The Coral, while Simple Minds headline on 8 July.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell were formed after the singer left the original UB40 line-up in 2008 citing management issues.

Pato Banton and Bitty McLean, who both scored major hits in the 1990s, will perform on the same day.

Organisers say additional acts will be revealed soon.
