Man seriously injured after being hit by bus

Police said a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus on South Street in Exeter

A man has been seriously injured in a city centre bus crash in Exeter, police have confirmed.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers went to South Street, Exeter, at about 11:30 BST on Monday after receiving reports a bus had collided with a pedestrian.
The force said the male pedestrian suffered serious injuries as a result of the incident and had been taken to hospital.
Police said a road closure had been put in place.
