A road has been closed after a serious crash involving a motorbike and a car, police said.
Essex Police said officers were called to Botney Hill Road in Billericay, Essex, just before 08:00 BST following reports of a collision.
Emergency services and officers remained at the scene.
The force has made an appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash or with information to come forward.
