Woman in serious condition after two vehicle crash

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Newtownards.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the two-vehicle collision on the Comber Road at about 13:30 BST on Sunday.
Officers from the Police Service Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) attended, along with the NI ambulance and fire and rescue services.
Medical attention was provided at the scene and a woman aged in her 60s was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious condition, the PSNI said.
A man and woman aged in their 50s were treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Comber Road was closed for a period and has since reopened.
