Two men have been arrested after drugs with an estimated value of €32.8m (£28m) were seized at the Port of Cork in the Republic of Ireland.
Gardaí (Irish police) said they seized 546kg of synthetic drugs in a joint operation with customs officers on Friday morning.
Irish broadcaster RTÉ said the drugs are believed to be crystal meth.
The men, both in their 40s, were arrested during follow up searches carried out in counties Kerry and Cork.
Two firearms were also seized during the searches.
The men are being held at garda stations in the Kerry region.
It is understood there are significant international elements to the drugs operation that has been uncovered, RTE reported.
