Man charged with manslaughter of Kyle McDermott

A 24-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a Kyle McDermott in Ballymagorry, County Tyrone.
Mr McDermott died "following an altercation" in the Victoria Road area of the village shortly after 23:30 BST on Sunday, the police have said.
The 24-year-old is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, the police also made a direct witness appeal in relation to the police investigation.
The police are asking to speak with the occupants of a blue-coloured car which was parked on the Victoria Road on Sunday evening.
Police believe that a passenger may have captured mobile footage.
"Kyle, at just 24 years old, was a young man in his prime when his life was cut short, leaving a family and friends heartbroken," Det Insp Hazel Miller said.
“I am appealing, in the first instance, to the driver and passengers of that car to please contact us as soon as possible, as your support could greatly assist our enquiries.
“I will also take the opportunity to extend a reminder to anyone who as in the Victoria Road area on Sunday night between 18:00 and midnight to come forward with any information or footage you may have."
Previously, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said they received two 999 calls about an incident in the Victoria Road area of Ballymagorry, one at 00:05 BST and a second at 00:39 BST.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the incident and one person was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital, NIAS added.
