Two arrested after 17-year-old boy stabbed near KFC

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of affray after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed near a KFC restaurant in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said the stabbing took place near the eatery at Springfield Retail Park, in Hucknall Lane, Bulwell, at about 14:55 BST on Sunday.

The boy was taken to hospital but was later discharged, the force added.

The arrested pair, an 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy, were detained on Sunday night and remain in custody.

Police said inquiries were ongoing to "establish the full circumstances of this incident".

It also appealed for any relevant CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage to assist the police investigation.
