Man found at bus shelter with serious injuries dies

A man found in a bus shelter with serious injuries has died in hospital, police said.
The man, in his 40s, was found by members of the public in the shelter on Redhill Road in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, at about 20:30 BST on Monday.
Police said he died in hospital on Tuesday evening.
Officers said inquiries were "ongoing to establish the full circumstances around how he came to be injured, and [we are] continuing to appeal for anyone with information to please come forward".
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police added: "His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
"Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
