A police officer has been charged with fraud following an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
PC Ibrar Yaseen, 30, of West Yorkshire Police, faces one count of fraud by false representation relating to mileage claims submitted by the officer.
West Yorkshire Police said PC Yaseen, who worked in the Bradford district, had been removed from frontline policing and placed on restricted duties.
PC Yaseen is due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates' Court on 19 August.
The IOPC said the charge followed an investigation, under its direction, by West Yorkshire Police's Counter Corruption Unit into mileage claims submitted to the force.
