Man, 33, dies after being pulled from river

A man has died in hospital after being pulled from a river in Coventry.

The 33-year-old was found in the River Sherbourne near Upper Spon Street at about 16:00 BST on 6 August, West Midlands Police said.

The man was taken to hospital but died a short time later. A police spokesperson said his family were being supported by specialist officers.

Anyone who might have more information or who were in the area at the time have been urged to contact West Midlands Police.
