Pedestrian in his 80s dies after car crash

A man in his 80s has died after he was struck by a car, police have said.
He was hit by a grey Seat Ibiza while walking in King Street, Blackburn, at about 15:40 GMT on Saturday, Lancashire Police said.
He suffered a head injury and later died in hospital.
Officers said they were looking into the "full circumstances of what led to this collision" and appealed for anyone with information or footage to contact them.
