British electronic duo Pet Shop Boys have been announced as headline acts for next year's Lytham Festival.

It will be a homecoming for one half of the band, as Chris Lowe returns to Lancashire, having been born and raised on the Fylde coast in Blackpool.

Pet Shop Boys will be playing their Dreamworld: 'The Greatest Hits Live' set on Saturday 4 July.

Earlier this week, it was announced American singer and Grammy nominee Teddy Swims would be the first headline act at Lytham's annual music festival.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: "Pet Shop Boys are legends. Their music has shaped generations and they are as relevant today as they were when they first broke through in the mid-80s."

The duo have previously played their Dreamworld set to a sold-out residency at the Royal Opera House before featuring at the Isle of Wight festival and Radio 2's In The Park.

Lytham Festival will run from 1 to 5 July 2026.

Fans can access Lytham Festival's pre sale from 17:00 BST on 3 October Friday, while tickets go on general sale at 10:00 the following day.
