Third boy arrested in attempted murder probe

A third teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed.

The arrest came after a boy was found with "serious" wounds to his hand in Forber Crescent, Gorton, Greater Manchester at 18:30 GMT on Tuesday.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said all three boys being questioned are 15.

Officers had used stop-and-search powers in the area after reports of "men with weapons" in the neighbourhood.
