A social housing provider has doubled its funding available for community groups and individuals to make a positive difference to customers and neighbourhoods.
Greatwell Homes, which manages homes in Wellingborough, Kettering, Raunds and Northampton, is donating £30,000 for the 2025/26 year.
Since 2016, it has supported a range of groups and charities with £150,000 of funding including foodbanks, youth groups and Christmas presents for struggling families.
Jo Savage, chief executive, said: "We're delighted to be able to bolster the financial support available for community groups and recognise the vital role they play in helping neighbourhoods to thrive."
The Community Grants Fund was set up to provide funding and a financial boost to groups and individuals to make a positive difference in the community.
Last year, the housing provider donated £15,000, external to community events including food festivals and Windrush events.
Groups are able to apply for a grant of between £500 and £5,000 where they can demonstrate their projects benefit Northamptonshire communities, which the housing provider operates in.
Ms Savage said each application is assessed by its customer assembly and decided on what "works best for our customers and communities".
