People living in an area where a teenager was found fatally stabbed in a flat eight days after his death are being urged to contact police with any security footage.

The body of Kalvin Taylor, 19, was found in a flat on Lefroy Road, in Mile Cross, Norwich, by police on 21 September.

Officers have widened their appeal for any ring doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage from across the Mile Cross area between 20:00 BST on 13 September and 16:00 on 16 September.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Taylor died from a single stab wound to his chest and three people have been charged with his murder.

Det Insp Dave McCormack from Norfolk Police said they were "continuing to investigate the circumstances around exactly what happened".

He added: "We would like to appeal to those living in the wider Mile Cross area directly for any further ring doorbell, CCTV or dashcam that could be relevant to our investigation during the days around the discovery of the young man's body."

The 19-year-old victim was identified as Kalvin Taylor, from London, pending formal coroner’s inquest proceedings, police said.

Leon Bangura, 20, from London, Adam Dugdale, 55, and Carrie-Ann Hall, 51, both from Norwich, have been charged with murder.

Matthew Holmes, 51, also from Norwich, has been charged with assisting an offender.

A trial was set for 28 April and the three people accused of murder were remanded into custody at Norwich Crown Court earlier this month. All of the defendants confirmed their identities, but none entered a plea.

Mr Bangura has also been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession with intent to supply and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Mr Holmes was granted bail with conditions that included living at an address in Bowthorpe, Norwich, and abiding by a curfew.
