'Labour offers MPs peerages' and 'Jail Trump now'

The Sunday Telegraph, external leads with claims from the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt that Labour will betray pensioners again. His comments were made in reference to a Gordon Brown-era pension policy, which Mr Hunt says people will "never forget".

According to the Mail on Sunday some members of the Tory right are calling on Rishi Sunak to cut taxes, amid fears the party could be heading for a "wipe out" at the polls.

The Sunday Times reports Diane Abbott and other Labour figures have been offered peerages to "make way" for allies of Sir Keir Starmer.

The paper says since the election announcement a number of "left-wingers" have been told they would be "elevated" to the House of Lords if they gave up their seats. Sir Keir tells the Observer the two-year process of selecting candidates is about making sure "we've got the right people in the right places."

Away from UK politics, the Sunday Mirror, external features the conviction of former US president Donald Trump, in a world exclusive with Stormy Daniels whose hush-money payment was at the centre of the case. The paper reports that Ms Daniels says she is "vindicated" by the result, but that "the legacy of the trial will stay with her forever".

And much is made about David Beckham and the King sharing beekeeping tips when they met at Highgrove.
