Firefighters have continued to dampen down a blaze at a metal scrapyard a day after it began.

It started at Scrapco in Red Lodge, near Newmarket, at about 17:40 BST on Friday.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said appliances had been sent from across the county and also Essex to deal with the flames.

Local residents were advised to keep their doors and windows closed during the height of the fire.
