Police have released images of eight men they want to speak to about disorder in Southport and Liverpool.

Riots broke out in towns and cities across the country after the Southport knife attacks, in which three young girls were killed.

Det Ch Insp Tony Roberts, from Merseyside Police, said those pictured "need to make themselves known as soon as possible" to assist with investigation.

The force has arrested 74 people and charged 41 so far after the unrest which followed misinformation about the Southport suspect being shared online.
