Organisers of Bristol Harbour Festival have revealed another wave of performance areas.
The Dance Tent will return for the 2024 event, with the addition of a Bristol Rising venue and even a former fireboat to kick off proceedings.
The festival has also partnered with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) as its official charity, which will be performing lifeguard demonstrations all weekend and collecting donations.
The event, held between 19 and 21 July, also features dragonboat racing, steamboat processions and "back to back" entertainment.
'Awe-inspiring'
The event is led by Bristol City Council, alongside the Bristol City Centre and Redcliffe and Temple Business Improvement Districts (BID).
Leader of the council, Tony Dyer, said: "The programme for the 2024 Bristol Harbour Festival is truly a fantastic showcase of our city's heritage, culture and talent.
"From showcasing the best home-grown talent, to the awe-inspiring entertainment that you'll find on the water, which we are thrilled to see return, it's going to be a brilliant three days."
The Bristol Rising Stage will be programmed by the local Access Creative College and dBs Institute, while the Dance Tent, which will feature a number of genres, will also host a queer DJ takeover on the Saturday evening with local LGBTQ+ collective Booty Bass.
Bristol-based singer Marns will perform, as well local group LAKEDOWN, alongside other up and coming talents.
Elsewhere, a Fringe Festival has been added to the line-up, with venues encouraged to sign up to host elements of it.
