A city-wide ticket hunt has been set up in Bristol to mark the reopening of one of the city's attractions.

Science centre We The Curious, in Millennium Square, closed after a fire in April 2022 and is reopening on 2 July.

The tickets are silver 3D-printed tokens and have been hidden at community centres, city farms and even on buses across 16 Bristol postcodes.

Each one gives up to six people access to the attraction, and includes free bus travel

A spokesperson for We The Curious said by hiding the tokens all over the city, they hoped to reach people who might not have had a chance to visit the centre before.

"Being accessible and inclusive is really important to us, so ahead of our reopening we wanted to create a bit of a buzz with an activity that was open to everyone," said Bryony Roberts, content director for the centre.

"Whether you're We The Curious fans or have never heard of us before, it's for everybody," she added.

Ms Roberts said: "It's also a great way to say thank you to everyone who supported us during our closure."

First Bus is providing free bus travel to and from the science centre as part of a fully-paid for experience for winning ticket holders.

A Planetarium show is also included.

An opening celebration is planned for Saturday 6 July.
