A motorcyclist was killed in a suspected hit-and-run on a dual carriageway, police said.
Staffordshire Police said they were called to the A500 at Audley on Friday evening to reports of a collision. Officers found a motorbike which had hit the central reservation and said the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.
A dark-coloured vehicle, reported to be involved in the collision, left the scene before officers arrived, police added.
The crash took place towards junction 16 of the M6 just before 22:00 BST. Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage should contact police.
