Man in court charged with attempted murder

A 34-year-old has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following an incident in Bracebridge, Lincoln.

Police were called to a property on Ellison Street, off Newark Road, following reports of an assault at 15:47 BST on Friday.

Lincolnshire Police said armed officers found a man with life-threatening injuries, consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Daniel Sanderson, of no fixed address, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Monday. He was remanded in custody to appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 9 September.
