Man dies after being hit by council road sweeper

A man has died in hospital after being hit by a council road sweeper in Leicester.
Leicestershire Police said it was called to Holy Bones by East Midlands Ambulance Service just before 14:15 BST on Monday.
A man in his 80s was taken to hospital but died a few hours later, the force added.
A 63-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and remains in police custody.
Det Sgt Mike Steer said the vehicle involved was a Leicester City Council road sweeper.
"We are in contact with colleagues in the council and they are assisting us with our investigation," he added.
Anyone with any information or who may have seen what happened is urged to contact the police.
