Aviramps will be available to use for Aurigny flights from Southampton and London Gatwick airports

Ramps which allow step-free access for aircraft travelling to Guernsey is being introduced at two English airports.
Guernsey airline Aurigny said the Aviramps had been put in place at Southampton and London Gatwick to help passengers, including those who need additional assistance to get on board.
Aurigny said the ramps would start being used in the near future once ground teams at the airports had completed relevant training.
The airline said over the past 12 months, 6,000 passengers had requested extra assistance on flights it operated and the ramps would help speed up the boarding process by an average of four minutes.
The airline, which worked with Aviramp and Guernsey Ports to improve accessibility, said the new units would complement step-free ramps it already had at Guernsey Airport.
Dave Cox, Aurigny's deputy chief operations officer, said: "By working with Aviramp and Guernsey Ports, we have enabled travellers in Guernsey to benefit from smoother, faster and more dignified boarding experiences."
