The interchange between the M25 and A3 will be closed over the weekend as a £317m junction upgrade continues.

National Highways said the closure of the gyratory at the M25's junction 10 (Wisley interchange) will begin at 21:00 BST Friday and end at 06:00 on Monday.

Motorists will be able to drive through the junction on both the A3 and M25, but they will not be able to leave or join, as all slip roads off the junction will be closed.

A newly signed diversion route will be in place.

The works at junction 10 - the busiest section of the M25 - are being carried out as part of a long-term project to widen the A3 where it meets the motorway.

The project is due to be completed by spring 2026.
