Two people have been arrested after a zombie-style knife, suspected cocaine and an XL bully were found by police.

A drugs warrant was used by Avon and Somerset police for a property in Corporation Street, Taunton, on 2 October.

The man, 24, and woman, 20, were arrested on suspicion of drug and weapon offences and having custody of a banned breed of dog.

The pair were questioned and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

The dog - suspected to be an XL bully - has been put in kennels, a force spokesperson said.

The search also revealed suspected ketamine, cannabis, drugs supply equipment, along with knuckledusters, mobile phones and cash.

Police have thanked the public for providing them with information that helps them plan operations and have said even the "smallest amount of information" can help.
