A car has been destroyed by a blaze near a roundabout in Devon.

Newton Abbot Fire Station said it was called to the Ware Barton roundabout in Kingsteignton at about 18:00 BST on Saturday to reports of the fire.

It said the car - a black Mazda - was well alight when crews arrived at the scene and all occupants of the vehicle had escaped without injury before the crew arrived.

Firefighters at the scene said the car was "100% destroyed by fire" and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
