Boy, 12, suffers serious injuries in crash

A 12-year-old boy has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Devon involving one car, police have said.
The crash happened at about 08:50 BST on Monday on Elm Grove Road outside Dawlish Community College.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said a number of witnesses were supporting their inquiries and an investigation was ongoing.
The boy was taken to Bristol Children's Hospital for treatment, they added.
