South West viewers have been sending "invaluable" photos to help weather forecasters for a decade.
BBC Weather Watchers has celebrated its 10th birthday after being launched to get people to post photos from their local area to show what weather conditions were like there.
Since it started, Weather Watchers have sent in photos from Devon showing a wide array of conditions from snow, sunshine, storms and even the Northern Lights.
David Braine, BBC South West's senior broadcast meteorologist, said the pictures have helped add extra colour to forecasts on TV.
Braine said: "We now start our local TV weather forecast with two Weather Watcher photos from the day to set the scene.
"It is an invaluable local source of information for me and of course a great job for those who have made the effort to send in their reports to see them used."
