Man seriously hurt in single-car crash

The force is appealing for witnesses and those with dashcam footage to aid its investigation

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after a single-car crash, police have said.
The crash involving a blue Ford Fusion happened on Stoke Road in Exeter at about 08:40 BST, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Officers said a 45-year-old man, from Tiverton, was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with serious injuries and the road was closed for nearly six hours for investigative work.
The force appealed for for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact them.
