Two men are in a critical condition following a "serious" one-vehicle crash in County Down.

It happened off the Ardglass Road in Downpatrick at about 22:00 BST on Friday.

It was reported that a silver BMW vehicle crashed into a stone pillar and the driver and passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance for their injuries.

Police have appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact them.
