Biker suffers 'life-changing' injuries in crash

A motorbike rider has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Cornwall, police have said.

The crash between a Land Rover Defender and a Triumph motorcycle happened on St Teth Road in Trelill, near Bodmin, at about 11:10 BST on Friday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The male rider suffered "life-changing" injuries, while his female pillion passenger was also injured, police said.

Officers said the pair were from Guernsey and in their 50s.

Police said the man was flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by Cornwall Air Ambulance.

The road was closed until about 22:00 BST for a crash investigation, officers said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage should contact police.
