Man in 20s confirmed as A34 crash victim

The A34 near Abingdon was closed for 15 hours both ways on Monday following the crash

Police have confirmed a man in his 20s died after a crash that caused a dual carriageway to close for 15 hours.

The A34 was shut both ways near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, at about 21:00 GMT on Monday.

Thames Valley Police officers said the death was being treated as "unexpected but not suspicious".

The force said the victim's next of kin were being supported by officers.
