Cyclist in his 80s hit by car on major road

A cyclist in his 80s was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car on an A road.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the A41, between Kings Langley and Watford, at about 10:45 GMT on Saturday.
Police said the cyclist joined the A41 at Old Mill Road heading south before being struck by a white BMW 118D Sport near the Hunton Bridge roundabout.
The driver remained at the scene to assist police while the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses and those with dash cam footage have been urged to contact police.
