Police have appealed for information after a pair of French bulldog puppies were stolen from a home in Nottingham.

Snowy and Kiki, who are about two months old, were taken during a burglary in Ransom Road in St Ann's on 12 June.

Nottinghamshire Police said intruders entered the property through an unsecured door while the occupant slept upstairs.

The force released pictures of the dogs on Thursday in the hope of tracing the puppies and catching the thieves.

PC Hannah Disney said: “This theft has caused unimaginable distress to the family.

“These were two puppies that have been taken from their home.

"We believe someone in the community will have vital information about their whereabouts.

“We are also calling on anyone who might have been approached and asked if they wished to buy the two puppies."
