Eleventh arrest over fatal street shooting

An eleventh person has been arrested over the death of a man who was shot on a Merseyside street.

Rikki Berry, 36, died in hospital after the attack in Quarryside Drive, Kirkby, Knowsley, on the evening of 17 July.

Police detained a 26-year-old man from Kirkby on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm.

He has been released on police bail with conditions.

Police have previously arrested 10 other people, including Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, who has been charged with murder.

He is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in on 1 November.

The others who were arrested have been bailed pending further inquiries and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
