Views sought on pay for elected States members

Views are being sought to review the current basis for States members' pay.
The States of Alderney said its policy and finance committee commissioned an independent review of the remuneration payable to elected members, which was last reviewed in 2008.
Officials said the purpose of the consultation was to assess whether it was still "appropriate and relevant" and determine whether it fairly reflects the nature of the roles.
The consultation ends on 2 October 2025.
