A popular dinosaur-themed event is set to return to Derby city centre for a third year.

A Jurassic Day Out is due to be held in the Cathedral Quarter area of the city on Saturday.

It will feature Zeus - billed as Europe's largest walking T. rex - brontosaurus Emily Bronty and triceratops Tank roaming the city streets.

The event will also include face painting, craft making and an interactive trail for children.

It has been organised by the Cathedral Quarter business improvement district (BID).

BID project executive Eve Taylor said: "We love organising these events because we know how much families love to come to them."
