Two men have been assaulted in what police have described as a "racially motivated hate crime" in south Belfast.
The men were approached by three individuals in dark clothing in the Ebor Street area at about 21:30 BST on Sunday evening.
They shouted racial abuse towards the two men and then proceeded to punch and kick them, with one victim sustaining an injury to his arm.
One of the attackers produced a small knife during the incident.
Police sniffer dogs carried out searches in the area on Monday afternoon and the PSNI have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
