Jersey's government has made a new pay offer to teachers ahead of proposed action short of strike.
The new vice chair of the States Employment Board, Deputy Elaine Millar, said the deal would be for the next three years.
Previous negotiations have failed to find a resolution to the dispute since its original pay rise offer of 7.9%, which led to members of the NEU and NASUWT to take industrial action.
NASUWT General Secretary Dr Patrick Roach said the union had agreed to suspend all industrial action while it consulted with its members over the offer.
The NASUWT said its members had been offered a further 8% pay rise for 2024, with an additional one off payment of £1,000 - and a pay rise in line with inflation for 2025 and 2026.
Dr Roach said: “It is regrettable that it took an escalation of action short of strike action to obtain an offer that was worthy of consultation with our members.
“We will continue to support members to ensure they receive a fair deal on pay and working conditions.”
The NEU said it would not comment on what its members had been offered.
Deputy Millar said it was "waiting for the NEU to confirm to the States Employment Board that they will put the latest offer to their members".
She said: “Pay negotiations are private and confidential, we are therefore unable to provide details of the pay offer at this time.”
