Firefighters' belongings were stolen in a raid at a fire station when the crew were responding to a call, Kent Fire and Rescue Service said.

Kent Police said it was investigating the raid at Sheppey fire station on the High Street, Sheerness, just after 20:00 GMT on Sunday.

Personal belongings, including a bank card, owned by a firefighter, were reported to have been stolen, the force said in a statement.

No arrests have been made but investigations are ongoing.
