Group charged with drug offences after raids

Police carried out raids at multiple addresses in Nottinghamshire and beyond

Police have charged 11 people with drug offences after a series of raids.

Nottinghamshire Police said the force received intelligence which led officers to carry out searches at addresses in Arnold, Bingham, Carlton, Pinxton, St Ann's and West Bridgford.

Properties in Bolton and Cheshire were also visited as part of the operation on 17 and 18 March.

As a result seven suspects were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis, three with conspiracy to supply cocaine and another with conspiracy to supply cannabis.

Nottinghamshire Police said the group had appeared before magistrates in the city ahead of a crown court hearing in April.
